How files are scanned in cloud storages connected to Windows 10

Starting from Windows 10 RS3, you can configure online access to files in cloud storages such as OneDrive. To do so, enable the Files On-Demand feature in the OneDrive client application. The files will then be displayed in File Explorer. While you are connected to the Internet, you will be able to use these files like any other file on your computer.

If Kaspersky Small Office Security detects these files during a scan, you will receive a notification that files in the cloud storage weren’t scanned. File Anti-Virus will check them the next time they are opened or modified.
