To install Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server locally:

1. Check if your computer meets all system requirements. 
2. Download the installer from the Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server page.
3. Run the installer and extract the files to the temporary folder. By default, C:\KS4WS\version_number.
4. Go to the temporary folder and run setup.exe.
5. Follow the steps of the installation wizard.

To manage Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server through Kaspersky Security Center 10, download and install the management plug-in.

To install Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server to a remote computer through Kaspersky Security Center 10:

1. Check if the target computer meets all system requirements. 
2. Download the installer from the Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server page.
3. Run the installer and extract the files to the temporary folder. By default, C:\KS4WS\version_number.
4. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
5. Go to Advanced → Remote installation → Installation packages and create the installation package using the extracted files.

6. In the right-click menu of the installation package, click Install application. 

7. Follow the steps of the deployment wizard.

The console is not included into the installation package of Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server. If you want to manage Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server locally, install ks4wstools_x64.msi or ks4wstools_x86.msi with parameters EULA=1 PRIVACYPOLICY=1 /qn.

To manage Kaspersky Security 10.x for Windows Server through Kaspersky Security Center 10, download and install the management plug-in.

Local installation

1. Run setup.exe from the temporary folder C:\KS4WS\version_number.
2. Select Install Kaspersky Security Console.

3. Follow the steps of the installation wizard.

Remote installation via Kaspersky Security Center 10

1. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
2. Go to Advanced → Remote installation → Installation packages. Click Create installation package.
3. Select Create installation package for specified executable file. Set a name for the installation package. Click Next.
4. Click Browse and select the temporary folder C:\KS4WS\version_number\client.
5. Select the file:
   • For 64-bit operating systems: ks4wstools_x64.msi
   • For 32-bit operating systems: ks4wstools_x86.msi
6. In the Executable file command line (optional) field, enter EULA=1 PRIVACYPOLICY=1 /qn. Click Next.

7. Right-click the installation package and select Install application from the shortcut menu.
8. Follow the steps of the remote installation wizard.
