  • Enable or disable the Endpoint Detection and Response (KATA) component.
  • Configure server connection settings:
    • Specify the KATA server response timeout.
    • Add a TLS certificate to configure a trusted connection.
    • Select whether Kaspersky Endpoint Security will use two-way verification to connect to a KATA server.
    • Load a password-protected crypto-container to enable two-way verification.
  • Add a KATA server.
  • Select whether Kaspersky Endpoint Security will use TTL for packets sent to a KATA server.
  • Configure settings for sending data to KATA servers.
  • Restrict the number of events transmitted to a KATA server by Kaspersky Endpoint Security.

The Endpoint Detection and Response (KATA) component facilitates interaction with the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform solution, which promptly detects advanced threats, such as targeted attacks, advanced persistent threats, zero-day attacks, and others.

By default, Endpoint Detection and Response (KATA) is disabled.
