Application denylist
By default, the list of restricted applications contains the following applications:
- Yandex.Browser
- Opera
Kaspersky Safe Kids blocks these applications so kids can't use them to get around your restrictions by visiting forbidden websites and spending an unlimited amount of time on the computer. We don't recommend changing these settings if you want to block harmful content in browsers or create a schedule when your child can use the Mac.
Moving Kaspersky Safe Kids to a new Mac with Migration Assistant
If you move Kaspersky Safe Kids from your old Mac to a new Mac using Migration Assistant, the application will not be connected to My Kaspersky after migration. Child protection will be turned off by default. To resume protection using the settings specified on My Kaspersky, you need to sign in to My Kaspersky in the application.
