After an upgrade from Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1  to Windows 10 on computers with Kaspersky Fraud Prevention 4.0 for Endpoint installed, at the first startup the upgraded system will run the adaptation process (in the meantime, protection will be paused). The same behavior will take place if you fresh-install the application on Windows 10

After the process has been completed, protection will resume, however, the functionality of detection and neutralizing  active infections will be limited.

If Device Guard is enabled in the Windows 10 settings, the following functions will work with limitations:

  • Neutralizing active infections in the memory and neutralizing active infections during installation (the driver ArkMon will not function).
  • Detection of malware in the System registry, which runs automatically at computer startup.
  • Emulation driver that serves for scanning the system for infection.
  • Postponed disinfection on computer restart.

Please note:

  • The application will not support fully functional operation under Windows 10 with enabled Device Guard, even with updates and patches installed.
  • Kaspersky Lab products do not support Microsoft Edge web browser.
