Trusted zone is the user-created list of objects which should not be controlled by Kaspersky PURE 3.0. In other words, it is a set of exclusions from the scope of Protection Center. Trusted zone is created based on:

Exclusion rules are sets of conditions during which Kaspersky PURE 3.0 does not scan the following: files of definite formats, group of files, defined by the mask, a specified scope (for example, a folder or a program), program process or an object, defined by the name or by the name of the mask according to classification in Virus Encyclopedia.

In Kaspersky PURE 3.0 exclusion rules can be created for the following components only:

  • File Ant-Virus;
  • Mail Anti-Virus;
  • Web Anti-Virus;
  • Application Control;
  • Scan;
