In some cases it is not possible to connect to a remote desktop with Kaspersky PURE 3.0 installed and Firewall enabled on it.

To resolve the situation without disabling Firewall, do the following:

  1. Open Kaspersky PURE 3.0.
  2. On the top right corner of the window click the Settings window.

 

  1. At the top of the Settings window on the Protection tab select Firewall.
  2. Make sure the Enable Firewall box is checked.
  3. On the right part of the window in the Network rules section, click the Settings button.

  1. In the Firewall window go to the Packet rules tab.
  2. In the list of network services select Remote Desktop.
  3. In the Permission column right-click the Block action and in the context menu select Allow.

  1. In the Firewall window click the OK button.

 

  1. In the Settings window click the OK button.
  2. Close the main program window.
