Special courses

Adding Special courses is available if you selected Russia or Europe as your data storage location when registering on the ASAP platform.

On the ASAP platform, the Special course is a content section where you can add your own training materials. You can add Special courses to the training plans of training groups and award skills for completing them. You can add one or multiple topics to a Special course. You can also add one SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or PDF training unit to a topic for each language you want to make the topic available in.

By default, the Express course is added as a Special course on the ASAP platform.

Adding a Special course takes several steps:

1. Add a section for the Special course.
2. Add the topic to the Special course section and set its general settings.

   When you add a topic, a language is also added to it automatically.

3. Add a training unit to the topic language and wait for the check to be complete.

   Make sure the name of the topic in each language matches the language of the unit uploaded in it.

4. Repeat the previous step for all languages you have training materials for.
5. Publish the topic languages with uploaded and confirmed training units.
6. Add the topic to your group's training plan.

Special course storage size

The volume of training materials uploaded to the platform can't exceed the storage space allocated for your company. The storage status is displayed in the Special course tab section in the Contents section, as well as in the lower left corner of the settings window for each Special course topic.
