Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform does not support joint operation with programs not listed in this section.
Compatibility of Endpoint Sensors 3.5 with Kaspersky programs
You can use Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows version 10 SP2 MR3 or 11.0 and the standalone Endpoint Sensors program version 3.5 on the same computer. To do so:
- Disable Endpoint Sensors in the KES program.
For details on how to disable Endpoint Sensors in the KES program, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Help.
- Install the standalone Endpoint Sensors program version 3.5 on all the computers of your organization's local area network on which you want to use Endpoint Sensors.
Compatibility of Endpoint Sensors 3.6 with Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows
Information about the compatibility of Endpoint Sensors 3.6 with Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows (hereinafter also referred to as "KES") is listed in the following table.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security version 11.1.1 is compatible only with the Endpoint Sensors program that is part of KES. You cannot install KES 11.1.1 and the standalone Endpoint Sensors program on the same computer.

Installing the Endpoint Sensors program version 3.6.0.62 on the same server as the KSWS application version 10.1.2 is supported for the following operating system:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64.
- Windows Server 2012 Standard x64.
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard x64.
- Windows Server 2016 Standard x64.
Compatibility of Endpoint Sensors version 3.6 with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.1 Light Agent (KSV LA)
Installing Endpoint Sensors on the same virtual machine as the KSV LA program is supported for the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64.
- Windows Server 2012 Standard x64.
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard x64.
- Windows Server 2016 Standard x64.
To use Endpoint Sensors with KSV LA in the virtual infrastructure, one of the following hypervisors must be installed (depending on the virtualization platform):
- Microsoft Hyper-V platform: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V hypervisor (in full mode or in Server Core mode) with all available updates.
- Citrix Hypervisor platform: Citrix XenServer 7.1 LTSR hypervisor.
- VMware vSphere platform:
- VMware ESXi 6.7 hypervisor
- VMware ESXi 6.5 hypervisor
- KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) platform: KVM hypervisor with one of the following operating systems:
- Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS.
- Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.5.
- CentOS 7.5.
Cloning virtual machines with installed Endpoint Sensors and KSV LA is not supported. Clone the virtual machine, generate a new SMBIOS GUID for it, then install the Endpoint Sensors program.
Compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.8 with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent (KSV LA)
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.8 is compatible with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent (KSV LA) versions 5.1, 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.3.
Compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent versions 3.8 and 3.9 with Kaspersky Endpoint Protection Platform programs
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent versions 3.8 and 3.9 are compatible with the following Endpoint Protection Platform programs:
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows: 10 SP2 MR3, 10 SP2 MR4.
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows: 11.0.1, 11.1, 11.1.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, 11.6.
- Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server: 10.1.2, 11.
If Endpoint Sensor version 3.6.X is installed and used on the device as part of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, it is recommended to disable Endpoint Sensor before installing Kaspersky Endpoint Agent 3.8 and 3.9 to avoid possible conflicts between the programs.
Compatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent program versions 3.8 and 3.9 with other Kaspersky programs
Kaspersky Endpoint Agent program versions 3.8 and 3.9 are compatible with the following Kaspersky programs and solutions:
- Kaspersky Security Center 11, 12, and later.
- Kaspersky Sandbox 1.0.
- Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform 3.7, 3.7.1, 3.7.2.
Compatibility of the Kaspersky Endpoint Agent program with third-party antivirus programs
One of the following third-party anti-virus programs can be installed on computers on which you want to install Kaspersky Endpoint Agent (Endpoint Sensors):
- Symantec Endpoint Protection.
- Trend Micro Maximum Security.
- Sophos Endpoint Protection.
- ESET NOD32 Business Edition Smart Security.
- BitDefender GravityZone Advanced Business Security.
- McAfee Endpoint Security 10.6.1.
If you install more than one third-party anti-virus program, correct operation of Kaspersky Endpoint Agent (Endpoint Sensors) is not guaranteed.
If RealTimes Desktop Service is installed on computers on which the Endpoint Sensors component will be installed, you are advised to uninstall it before installing Endpoint Sensors.
