Controlling your device via My Kaspersky
If your device goes missing, you can send Anti-Theft commands remotely via My Kaspersky.
To send commands to the missing device:
- Open My Kaspersky on any device.
- Sign in to My Kaspersky with the same account you used to set up the feature.
- In the Devices section, find your device and click the Manage button.
- Select the Commands tab.
- Click the button with the name of the command that you want to send to the device.
- Follow the instructions for the command.
The command execution status is displayed in the command window.
Typical use case
If you've lost your device somewhere nearby, you can turn on the alarm. The loud sound will help you find the device. To do this, follow the instructions in this section to send the Alarm command from My Kaspersky.
You can add a message that will be displayed on the screen of your device when the alarm goes off. For example, you can add an alternate phone number so that someone who finds your device can call you.
When you confirm enabling the alarm on My Kaspersky, your device is locked, the alarm goes off and your message is displayed on the screen. When you find your device, unlock it using your secret code, unlock pattern or fingerprint.
