Installing on the computer

You need the application setup file to install Kaspersky Safe Kids on the computer. You can download this file from the official Kaspersky Lab website.

To download Kaspersky Safe Kids to the computer:

Open the http://kas.pr/kids website in a browser.
Click the Download for Windows button.

The setup file of Kaspersky Safe Kids is downloaded to your computer.

Kaspersky Safe Kids should be installed on the child's computer or on the family computer. If you are the only one who uses the computer, you don't need to install Kaspersky Safe Kids on this computer.

Depending on the child's age, you can install the application and set the rules for using devices on your own or do it together with your child. Advice for parents will help you find out how to discuss installing Kaspersky Safe Kids with your child.

To install Kaspersky Safe Kids on the computer:

Start the setup file of Kaspersky Safe Kids.
The welcome window of Kaspersky Safe Kids opens.
Click the End User License Agreement and Terms of Use links in the lower part of the window to open and read the terms of use of the application. If you disagree with the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use, cancel the installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids and refrain from using the application.
Click the Install button.
By clicking the Install button, you agree to be bound by the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Terms of Use.
Wait for the installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids to finish.
If you want to prepare the computer for the child right away, select the Start Kaspersky Safe Kids configuration check box.
After finishing installation, you can configure child protection on the computer.
Click Finish to exit the Application Installation Wizard.

The Sign In to My Kaspersky window opens, and you can begin configuring child protection.

When installation of Kaspersky Safe Kids finishes, you may have to restart the computer.
