Removing Kaspersky Safe Kids from the computer

The application is protected against removal by the child. Removing the application requires entering the password of the administrator account on the computer and the password for My Kaspersky account. These accounts should have strong passwords to prevent the child from guessing them.

If the child guesses the passwords, he or she will be able to remove Kaspersky Safe Kids from the computer. The application notifies you about the child's attempts to remove Kaspersky Safe Kids.

To remove Kaspersky Safe Kids from the computer:

  1. Sign in to the Windows account with administrator privileges.
  2. Open the Control Panel in one of the following ways:
    • If you use Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7, select Control Panel in the Start menu.
    • If you use Windows 8 / Windows 8.1, press the Win + I shortcut and select the Control Panel item.
    • If you use Windows 10, press the Win + X shortcut and select the Control Panel item.
  3. In the window that opens, select Programs and Features.
  4. In the list of applications, select Kaspersky Safe Kids and click Remove.

    The Application Removal Wizard opens.

  5. Click the Next button.
  6. Enter the password for your My Kaspersky account and click Next.

    The application prompts you to confirm removal of the application.

  7. Click Remove to confirm your decision to remove the application.

    The Kaspersky Safe Kids removal process starts. The application prompts you to restart the computer during the removal process.

  8. Restart the computer to finish removing Kaspersky Safe Kids.

Kaspersky Safe Kids has been successfully removed from your computer. The child's profile remains on My Kaspersky portal.
