How to configure application notifications

To receive notifications that the application has started and VPN is enabled:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button.
3. Select Settings → Notifications.
4. Select the Notify when enabled check box.

   This check box is available if the Enable VPN automatically at application startup toggle is set to On.

To receive notifications about VPN status when connecting to a Wi-Fi network:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button.
3. Select Settings → Notifications.
   • If you want to receive notifications that the application was unable to establish a secure connection when connecting to a Wi-Fi network, switch the Notify when VPN fails to turn on automatically once Wi-Fi connection is established toggle to On.
   • If you want to receive notifications that the application successfully established a secure connection when connecting to a Wi-Fi network, switch the Notify when VPN turns on automatically once a Wi-Fi connection is established toggle to On.

To receive notifications informing you that VPN is enabled when connecting to a selected Wi-Fi network:

1. Open the main application window.
2. In the main application window, click the button.
3. Select Settings → Smart Protection.
4. Switch the toggle to On. You will then be asked to accept the Smart Protection Statement.
5. Read the statement and, if you accept the terms of data processing for Smart Protection functionality, click Accept.

   If you do not accept the terms of the statement, click Decline. In this case, the Smart Protection feature configuration will be unavailable.

6. Click the Settings button.

   This opens the Smart Protection window.

7. Click the Known Wi-Fi networks button.

   This opens a window displaying the Wi-Fi-networks to which you previously connected. If you have not connected to Wi-Fi networks, this list is empty.

8. Select the Wi-Fi network for which you want to receive notifications informing you that VPN is enabled.
9. Click the Edit button.

   This opens the Settings for "$NetworkName" window.

10. In the Action on connection to Wi-Fi network "$NetworkName" section, select the Enable VPN option if it is not already selected.
11. Select the Notify when enabled check box.
12. Click the Save button.

Once Smart Protection is disabled, the transfer and processing of data required for this functionality will be stopped.
