How to enable and disable SNMP traps via the command line
- Open the console of the Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway virtual machine or connect to it via SSH.
- Go to Technical Support Mode. See this aticle for instructions.
- Export the SNMP task settings to the file using the following command:
/opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-control --get-settings <SNMP_task_ID> -f <file_name>
- Open the file and set the value of the trapsEnable parameter:
- 1 to enable traps
- 0 to disable traps
- Go to the trapsSuite section and set the value for each event that should end up in an SNMP trap:
- 1 to enable traps for the event
- 0 to disable traps for the event
- Save the file and import it to the application using the following command:
/opt/kaspersky/klms/bin/klms-control --set-settings <SNMP_task_ID> -f <file_name>
SNMP traps will be enabled or disabled.
How to enable or disable SNMP traps via the web interface
- Open the Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway web interface.
- Go to Settings → SNMP.
- Click the Use SNMP switch to move it to enable the setting.
- Click the Send SNMP Traps switch to enable or disable the setting.
SNMP traps will be enabled or disabled.
