In personal user mode, the personal Backup is displayed with information about the current user's messages and about the messages in group mailboxes to which the current user has access. Messages from group mailboxes are stored in separate sections of the personal Backup, the names of which correspond to the email addresses of the group mailboxes.
A personal user can view personal Backup as well as perform actions on messages if the administrator has turned on the relevant options in personal Backup settings.
To gain access to information about group mailbox messages, the loading of the Active Directory delegation attribute into the LDAP cache must be additionally configured.
Personal Backup contains messages that had Disinfect, Delete attachment, or Delete message actions applied to them. If the Skip or Reject action was applied to the message, the message is not available in personal Backup of the user.
A personal user of the application can do the following with messages in personal Backup:
When deleting from personal Backup and from group mailbox Backup, the message is not deleted from the global Backup. All operations with the message remain available in global Backup.
Messages are not placed in personal Backup if the name or email address of the user match the name or email address of another user or a group in LDAP server domains. Email addresses and names of users are checked for duplicates after each successful synchronization with Active Directory domain controllers.
