If you have a subscription for Kaspersky Plus or Premium, every day the app will automatically check for data leaks associated with accounts linked to your email addresses.

To add email addresses to these automatic data leak checks:

  1. In the Kaspersky app, tap the Data Leak Checker section on the Home screen.

Alternatively, you can open the All features section and tap Data Leak Checker there.

  2. When prompted, sign in to My Kaspersky to add the email address used for your My Kaspersky account to the list of automatic checks.

If you have previously signed in to My Kaspersky, the feature's main screen will display the email address used for your My Kaspersky account.

  3. To add a new email address to the list of automatic checks, tap the Add email address button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. On the new screen, enter the email address and tap the Check for leaks button to immediately check for leaks from accounts linked to this email address. The app saves each added email address in a list of accounts that are checked automatically every day.

You will get a notification if a possible data leak is detected. Go to the section with email addresses associated with possible data leaks to view a list of websites from which a data leak may have occurred, the date of the possible leak, and the category of the potentially compromised data. To view the full list of categories, as well as Kaspersky app recommendations on what to do if your data has been leaked, tap a website address in the list.

The app can only check 50 added email addresses at a time. To add new email addresses, you will need to delete some previously added ones.

How to delete added email addresses

If you have a subscription for Kaspersky Standard, you can manually check your My Kaspersky account.

To manually check whether your account data may be publicly accessible:

  1. In the Kaspersky app, tap the Data Leak Checker section on the Home screen.

Alternatively, you can open the All features section and tap Data Leak Checker there.

  2. Sign in to My Kaspersky account if you haven't done so before.
  3. To run a manual check, swipe down on the screen, or tap the circular arrow at the top of the screen.

You can also open the card of an email address and tap the circular arrow at the top of the card to check accounts linked to that specific email address.

If you have used the Account Check feature in the Kaspersky Security Cloud app on your device, we'll copy your list of email addresses to the Data Leak Checker feature in the Kaspersky app on the same device. To allow this to happen, make sure your Personal, Family, Kaspersky Plus, or Premium subscription has been activated in both the apps.
