Kaspersky Battery Life sends you notifications when it detects battery-draining activity on your device. The following notifications are available:
- Adjust screen brightness when battery is low. To use this feature, choose one of the following options:
- Show notification. You will get a notification when the battery level drops to 30% and your screen brightness is set to more than 20%. When you get this notification, you can adjust the brightness manually in the system settings on your device or tap Reduce brightness in the notification. In this case, Kaspersky Battery Life will adjust the screen brightness automatically.
- Reduce brightness. To save your battery, Kaspersky Battery Life will adjust the brightness automatically when the battery level drops to 30% and your screen brightness is set to more than 20%. You will get a notification that the screen brightness has been reduced. This feature requires adaptive brightness to be disabled in the device settings. If adaptive brightness is enabled, the app will ask you to disable it.
On some devices, Kaspersky Battery Life needs your permission to modify system settings to adjust the screen brightness when your battery is low.
- Battery is almost discharged. You can schedule how long before the battery is discharged that the app should notify you. After receiving the notification, you can adjust your device settings or close some apps to extend battery life.
- Battery is fully charged. You will get a notification when the battery level is 100% and you may disconnect the charger.
On Android 6.x and earlier, the following notifications about battery-draining apps are also available:
- Too many apps are running. You will get a notification when more than 20 apps are running simultaneously. If you tap the notification, you will be taken to the Battery life app window where you may stop one or more running apps (except your favorite apps).
- Apps are draining your battery. You will get a notification when an app you have not added to your Favorites list is consuming too much battery. If you tap the notification, you will be taken to the Details window where you may stop this app or add it to your Favorites list.
- Favorite apps are draining your battery. You will get a notification when a favorite app is consuming too much battery. If you tap the notification, you will be taken to the Details window where you may stop this app or remove it from your Favorites list.
