Issue

A scan task (quick scan, full scan or selective scan) freezes or stops.

Possible causes

  • Hardware of your computer does not meet system requirements for Kaspersky Lab applications. 
  • iChecker or iSwift technologies are disabled in thr settings of a Kaspersky Lab application. For information about iChecker and iSwift, see Online Help.

Solution

  1. Make sure your computer meets the system requirements. For system requirements, see the following articles:
  2. Enable iChecker and iSwift. To do so:
    1. In the main application window, click The Settings icon in Kaspersky Internet Security 19 window.

    2. Opening the settings of Kaspersky Internet Security 19 

    1. Go to the Scan section and select Advanced Settings.
    2. In the drop-down list, select Full Scan settings.

    1. Select Additional Settings.

    1. In the Scan technologies section, select the checkboxes for iSwift Technology and iChecker Technology.

    2. Enabling iSwift and iChecker in Kaspersky Internet Security 19 

  3. iSwift and iChecker are enabled.

  4. Repeat the steps for Quick Scan and Selective Scan tasks.
