Saving Kaspersky Rescue Disk settings to the USB drive

After the application finishes and the computer is restarted, the operating system resets Kaspersky Rescue Disk settings, including network connection settings. Kaspersky Rescue Disk allows saving application settings to a special partition on the USB drive (persistent partition). This lets you run the application with settings that remain the same across restarts. However, the application saves anti-virus databases, reports, and other temporary files to the hard drive of the computer.

Saving Kaspersky Rescue Disk settings to the USB drive involves the following steps:

  1. Creating a persistent partition on the USB drive.
  2. Enabling the saving of application settings to the USB drive.
  3. Configuring the protection of internet connection settings.
