Preparing for use of KDS

To use the KDS debug service:

1. Install Python (which is required when working with the KDS from the command shell):

   sudo apt install python3

2. Make sure that the kosctl tool is working correctly. The built-in Help information should be displayed when the kosctl command is run. If running this command results in a command not found error, configure the environment variables as described in the section titled Overview of kosctl.

The Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 SDK includes the Kds program, a set of Python modules for working with KDS from the command shell, and an example of a ready-to-use solution containing the Kds program.
