How to switch to a different Kaspersky application

If you have one of the Kaspersky applications for home installed, you can switch to a different solution without reinstalling the application. Follow the instructions in the table:

If you have bought the license with enabled auto-renewal, it will be activated automatically after purchase. If you want to use the auto-renewal license instead of your one-term license, the remaining term of your license will be lost. However, you can apply it to a Kaspersky application on another computer and use the rest of the license term.

To upgrade the application
to the latest version:
1. Download the installer from the Kaspersky website.
2. Run the installation file
and follow the installation steps.
3. Reboot the computer.

If your current Anti-Virus license has expired,
buy a new activation code.


1. Buy the code for Internet Security from the Kaspersky website.
2. Enter the activation code into your Anti-Virus application.

Make sure that the license terms are not summed.
4. Restart your computer, if necessary.
