Error 1306 when installing a Kaspersky application

The "Error 1306. Another application has exclusive access to file [file path]" error may appear during installation of a Kaspersky application.
- Remove the Kaspersky application using the kavremover tool.
- Perform a clean boot of Windows. See the Microsoft support website for instructions.
- Try installing the Kaspersky application once again.
