Subscription License refers to Auto-Renewable codes. Standard License is a regular commercial license that does not automatically renew itself.

If you are using a Subscription license, you will not be able to activate a regular commercial license until the current license (even if it has expired) is manually deleted because there will be no New activation code section or New activation code button available.

Please note: if you delete an auto-renewable (subscription) key from the application, this will not cancel your subscription, and you may be charged for its renewal when the expiration date comes. For instructions on how to cancel a subscription, see the respective article.

To activate a new regular activation code instead of an auto-renewable one, active or expired:

  1. Open Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014.
  2. In the lower-right corner of the window, click the Licensing link.
  3. In the Licensing window, click the cross icon  in the Key line.

  1. In the Attention dialog box, confirm the action by clicking Accept.

  1. Click the button Activate application.

  1. At the next step, enter the activation code, which you received when purchasing product. It is recommended that you use your keyboard instead of the Clipboard when entering the code.
  2. Click Activate.

  1. The activation wizard will connect to the Kaspersky Lab activation server and download the key file.
  2. Click Finish.
