How to configure automatic changing of region or city
You can configure what the application does when you change the region or city if Kaspersky Plus is installed and activated on your computer.
To configure the application to take an action when you change the region or city:
- Open the main application window.
- In the main application window, click the
button. - Select Settings → Websites.
- Click the Settings button.
The Rules for connection to websites window opens.
- Select the region through which you want to enable VPN for websites of a specific category.
- Select the region through which you want to enable VPN for specific websites.
- In the If the current VPN server differs from the specified server drop-down list, specify what the application must do if you switch between websites or website categories for which different connection regions or cities are configured:
- Do not change VPN server. If you switch between websites or website categories for which different regions or cities are configured, the application does not change the region or city.
- Ask. The application displays a notification in which you can choose if you want to change the region or city.
- Change VPN server. The application changes the region or city in accordance with the region or city that is specified for the website or website category. For example, you specified that a secure connection must be enabled through one region or city for websites in the “Banking websites” category, but you specified a different region or city for websites in the "Social networks" category. If you have a secure connection enabled and you switch from a website in the "Banking websites" category to a website in the "Social networks" category, your region or city changes to the one specified for the "Social networks" category.
