Quarantine is a special storage area that holds objects potentially infected with viruses.

Potentially infected objects are objects that are suspected of being infected by viruses or modifications of them. Objects stored in Quarantine do not represent a threat to your computer.

By default, Kaspersky Internet Security deletes malicious objects, but you can redefine the action on threat detection.

1. Actions with quarantined files

2. Quarantine location

3. Disabling automatic actions on threat detection

4. Defining actions taken on threat detection
