To determine the cause led to the application crash, Kaspersky Lab Technical Support experts may ask you to send a crash report in CRASH format. The crash report may be located in the following folders:

  • /Libraries/Logs/DiagnosticReports
  • /Users/Username/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
  • /Libraries/Logs/CrashReporter
  • /Users/Username/Library/Logs/CrashReporter

The path to .CRASH file in mac OS (OS X)

In Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and later the Library folder is hidden. To learn how to open the folder, see the guide in the block below.

Send a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky portal, and include a detailed description of the issue. To your request, please attach the file of kis_xxxxxxxxxxx.crash type from the CrashReporter or DiagnosticReports folder.

For instructions on how to use My Kaspersky, see the Online Help page.
