Managing your denylist
The Denylist is a list of phone numbers that you do not want to receive calls from. To block a call, add a phone number to the list. Contacts added to the denylist will not be able to contact you anymore. You can add numbers to the denylist via the contacts on your phone or manually.
On devices with Android 9-13, adding a number to the denylist automatically also adds it to the contacts list on your device.
If you want to unblock a contact, remove it from the denylist. You will receive calls from this contact again.
If you have a phone with two SIM cards, Call Filter does not block incoming calls on the second line.
How to add a phone number to your denylist?
- On the Kaspersky app bottom tab bar, tap All Features.
- Tap Call Filter.
- In the Denylist section, tap Add.
- Specify the details of the unwanted contact.
- Tap Add to save the added contact.
The contact is added to your denylist and the unwanted contact count is increased by one.
All calls from this phone number will now be blocked.
How to add a phone number to the denylist immediately after a call?
If you receive a call from a phone number that is not in your contacts and you have Notify after calls enabled, the app prompts you to block the number after the call.
In the prompt, select one of the following:
- Block calls, if you want to block calls from this phone number.
- Skip, if you want to receive calls from this phone number.
If you chose to block the number, it is added to the denylist, and the unwanted contact count is increased by one.
All calls from this phone number will now be blocked.
How to edit a contact in your denylist?
- On the Kaspersky app bottom tab bar, tap All Features.
- Tap Call Filter.
- In the Denylist section, tap the contact that you want to edit.
- Edit contact details.
- Save the edited contact.
The contact in your denylist is updated, and calls from this phone number will be blocked.
How to remove a contact from the denylist?
- On the Kaspersky app bottom tab bar, tap All Features.
- Tap Call Filter.
- In the Denylist section, do the following:
- Tap the contact you want to remove from the denylist, and tap Remove contact.
- Confirm deletion.
The contact is removed from your denylist and the unwanted contact count is decreased by one.
You will now receive calls from this phone number.
