How to activate a trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 installed

From Kaspersky Lab 2011 products you can easily upgrade one Kaspersky Lab product to another. For example, if Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 is installed on your computer and you would like to add advanced features, you can upgrade the installed product to Kaspersky Internet Security 2013.

If Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 is activated with a commercial license, then once you upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 the license for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 remains active.

To upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security 2013, do the following:
  1. Open the main application window.
  2. At the bottom part of the window click the arrow up button.

  1. Select Upgrade.

  1. You will see functionalities that will be added to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 after upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 in the Upgrade window. 
  2. Click the Trial version button.

  1. Wait until connection with the server is established.
  2. In the Migration Wizard window  Switch to Kaspersky Internet Security carefully read the message and click Next.

  1. Wait until all the necessary parameters have been checked. 
  2. In the Application will be restarted  window click the  Finish button.

  1. After the computer reboot, the Welcome to Kaspersky Internet Security window will appear on the screen. Click the Close button.

  1. Upgrade to Kaspersky Internet Security is completed.

When the trial version (30 days) for Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 expires, you can activate trial version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 (30 days).

You can also switch from Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 to Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 (commercial version).
