If you selected basic or standard installation during installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, the BadUSB Attack Prevention component will not be available. To install it, you must change the set of application components.
To install the BadUSB Attack Prevention component:
Open the Control Panel window in one of the following ways:
If you are using Windows 7, select Control Panel in the Start menu.
If you are using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, press the Win+I key combination and select Control Panel.
If you are using Windows 10, press the Win+X key combination and select Control Panel.
In the Control Panelwindow, select Apps and Features.
In the list of installed applications, select Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows.
Click the Modify/Uninstall button.
In the Modify, Repair, or Remove application window of the Application Setup Wizard, click the Modify button.
This opens the Custom installation window of the Application Setup Wizard.
In the Essential Threat Protection component group in the context menu of the icon next to the name of the BadUSB Attack Prevention component, select the Feature will be installed on the local hard drive option.
