How to reactivate a Kaspersky Lab application

Should you encounter activation errors such as “The key is already in use”, we recommend deleting the key from the application and activating the product once again. 

Before deleting the key from the application, check whether the activation code has been saved. You will not be able to reactivate the application without an activation code. To save your activation code, connect the application to My Kaspersky. Information about the license will then appear in the Licenses section of the My Kaspersky portal.

To delete the key and activate the application again: 

  1. Click License in the lower-right corner of the application window. The link may be named Subscription if you have a subscription licensing plan.

  1. In the Licensing view, click The red cross iconnext to the license key number.

  1. To remove the license, click Delete in the Attention! dialog box.

  1. Click Enter activation code.

  1. Enter the activation code and click Activate.

  1. Wait until the activation wizard completes, then click Finish.
