"Cannot connect to My Kaspersky" error when installing Kaspersky Free

Cause

Incorrect proxy server settings saved in the operating system.

Solution

Make sure you are installing the latest version of Kaspersky Free.

Reset proxy server settings on your computer in the following way:

  1. Using a search bar in the lower-right corner of the screen, search for Control Panel. Open Control Panel.

  1. Open Internet options.

  1. Go to the Advanced tab and click Reset.

  1. Click Reset.

  1. Reboot the computer.
