"Databases are corrupted" or "License problem detected" error. "Cannot verify correspondence of databases to the End User License Agreement"

Issue

When you try to update the anti-virus databases, an error message pops up in the Database Update or Licensing window:

  • "Databases are corrupted"

  • "License problem detected"; "Cannot verify correspondence of databases to the End User License Agreement"

Solution

You will need to reinstall the program.

  1. Download the installation package of the latest version of the program:
  2. Uninstall the program in which the issue has occurred. For instructions, see this article.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Run the installation file and follow the installation guide:
