Issue
Third-party applications that use TLS and SSL may work incorrectly if Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows scans encrypted connections.
Solution
Add an application to Trusted or disable scanning of HTTPS traffic. See the instructions below.
If you disable scanning of HTTPS traffic, it can reduce the protection of your computer.
How to add an application to Trusted
- Add the application to Trusted. For the instructions, see Online Help for the following versions of Kaspersky Endpoint Security:
- When adding the application to trusted, select the Do not scan encrypted traffic or Do not scan network traffic checkbox and specify the parameters of the secure connection.
The application will work correctly.
How to disable scanning of HTTPS traffic
For Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud 11.5.0 and later
- In the main window of Kaspersky Endpoint Security, click
.
- Select the following section:
- In 11.7.0 and later, go to General settings → Network settings.
- In 11.6.0 and 11.5.0, go to the Network settings section.
- Go to the Encrypted connection scan section and select the Do not scan encrypted connections checkbox.
