In the Notifications node, you can configure the settings for notifications about application operation.
Configuring delivery of notifications via EWS
Be sure to use the secure HTTPS protocol to communicate with the EWS, as using HTTP carries the risk of spoofing, sniffing, falsification and interception of data, and other security breaches in the application's operation.
Be sure to use only secure TLS ciphers when using the EWS. List of secure TLS cipher suites. For instructions on how to configure TLS cipher suites, please refer to this article on the Microsoft website.
To use HTTPS, we recommend that you specify https:// in the web service address field in the Exchange web service settings.
The Notification delivery settings section allows you to configure the Exchange Web Service for sending notifications of the application operation.

If the mechanism for sending notifications via EWS is triggered incorrectly, you can use the option of sending notifications via SMTP by selecting the corresponding protocol in the Notification delivery settings block.
Be sure to use only secure TLS ciphers when using SMTP. List of secure TLS cipher suites. For instructions on how to configure TLS cipher suites, please refer to this article on the Microsoft website.
In the settings for sending notifications via SMTP, you can specify:
- SMTP server address (the address must be entered manually).
You can also add the port number to the SMTP server address (port 587 by default).
- Account and password (you can specify an account from the Active Directory list or enter it manually).
When sending notifications without authentication, you do not need to specify an account or password.
- Sender email address.
- Administrator email address.
To send notifications via EWS and SMTP:
Make sure the Use TLS check box is selected to establish a secure connection, encrypt messages and transmit them securely over the network.
You should disable the use of TLS only in cases where the server does not support correct establishment of a secure connection for some reason and it is impossible to rectify the situation from the Microsoft Exchange server or SMTP server.
There may be situations when a connection is not established because the server certificate is not trusted on the KSE machine. In this case, you must add this certificate to the system certificate store without disabling the use of TLS.
In the Event notifications configuration section, you can configure email delivery of notifications about application operation events and the logging of events in the Windows Event Log.
The left part of the section displays the Notification subjects list. In this list, you can select events about which the application will notify the recipients specified in the right part of the section by email, and that the application will write in the Windows Event Log.
In the right part of the section, you can select the recipients for each notification or the message statuses based on scan results of the Anti-Spam module, and edit the text of notifications and configure additional settings for notifications about events. You can change the group of recipients of notifications based on the event selected in the Notification subjects list in the left part of the section. Additional notification settings will also be available for defining.
In the Recipients of notifications list, you can select one or several recipients to whom the application will send a notification about the selected event. Use a semicolon to separate email addresses in the entry field.
You can edit the text of the automatic notification by clicking the Template button. This feature is available for events that were registered during a virus scan or during a scan by the Anti-Spam module.
Filtering messages of the same type
In the Notify internal users only section, you can block sending notifications on processed objects outside your company to secure this information from theft by criminals.
