How to transfer a Kaspersky Lab product license from one device to another

To transfer a license between computers, you will need to remove it from one device and then add it to the Kaspersky Lab application on another device. To do so:

  1. Find your activation code:
    • If you bought your product in the Kaspersky Lab online store, then your activation code will have been sent to the email you used when making your purchase.
    • If you bought a box version of the product, you will find your activation code in the Quick Start Guide.
    • If you bought a license renewal card, you can find the code on the back of the card.
    If your application is activated, connect it to My Kaspersky and look up the code in the Licenses tab of My Kaspersky. See this article for instructions.
  2. Remove the Kaspersky Lab product from the old device. See this article for instructions.
    If the device doesn’t work, move on to the next step.
  3. Find the product on the Kaspersky Lab website and download it tot he new device. 
  4. Run the installation file and follow the instructions in these articles:
    • Kaspersky Internet Security 18, 19
    • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 18, 19 
    • Kaspersky Total Security 18, 19 
    • Kaspersky Security Cloud 18, 19
    • Kaspersky Small Office Security (5 PC, 5 FS, 6)
  5. Activate the application. For activation guides, see these articles:
    • Kaspersky Internet Security 18, 19
    • Kaspersky Anti-Virus 18, 19 
    • Kaspersky Total Security 18, 19 
    • Kaspersky Security Cloud 1819
