How to manually install a new version of a Kaspersky application

To save an active license or subscription information, create an account on My Kaspersky and add your activation code to it. To learn how to do so, see this article.

To upgrade the application manually, install new version on top of the existing one:
- Download the installation file from the Kaspersky website or My Kaspersky for Kaspersky Basic, Standard, Plus.
- Install the latest version of the application. Find the links to installation guides below.
- Reboot the your computer.
- If the application was not activated automatically, connect it to your account on My Kaspersky.
The application is now ready for use.
What to do in case of activation problems
If you experience problems installing the new application version, remove it and try installing it once again:
- Download the installation file from the Kaspersky website or My Kaspersky for Kaspersky Basic, Standard, Plus.
- Remove the application. In the Saving objects window, select the License information or Subscription information checkbox. See the removal guide in this article.
- Reboot the your computer.
- Install the latest version of the application. Find the links to installation guides below.
- If the application was not activated automatically, connect it to your account on My Kaspersky.
The application is now ready for use.
