Remote diagnostics of client devices. Kaspersky Security Center remote diagnostics utility
The utility for remote diagnostics of Kaspersky Security Center (hereinafter referred to as the remote diagnostics utility) is designed for remote execution of the following operations on client devices:
enabling and disabling tracing
changing the tracing level
uploading a trace file
uploading the remote installation log
uploading system event logs (syslog)
The remote diagnostics utility is automatically installed on the device together with the Administration Console.
To connect the main window of the utility for remote diagnostics on a client device:
Open the Administration Console of Kaspersky Security Center.
In the Managed devices folder of the Administration Console tree, open the folder with the name of the administration group that includes the required device.
In the workspace, select the Devices tab.
In the list of managed devices, select the device to which you want to connect the remote diagnostics utility, and select External tools → Remote diagnostics in the device context menu.
The main window of the Kaspersky Security Center remote diagnostics utility will open.
Using remote device diagnostics, you can view the remote application installation log.
To view the remote application installation log on a device:
Open the main window of the remote diagnostics utility.
In the main window of the remote diagnostics utility, click the Log in button.
In the window that opens, in the object tree, select the Remote installation logs directory.
