Install Kaspersky Internet Security
You can install Kaspersky Internet Security in one of the following ways:
- From My Kaspersky. Use your existing or create a new one to access the My Kaspersky portal. From the My Kaspersky portal, you can download and install the latest version of Kaspersky Internet Security.
The My Kaspersky portal is an online hub for the following tasks:
- Remotely managing supported Kaspersky Lab applications on your devices.
- Downloading installation packages for Kaspersky Lab applications.
- Buying and renewing licenses for Kaspersky Lab applications.
- Contacting Technical Support.
You can sign in to the My Kaspersky portal by any of the following methods:
- Using credentials associated with other Kaspersky Lab resources.
- Creating a new account (on the My Kaspersky portal or directly from compatible applications).
- Using your Facebook credentials.
You have to connect your devices to the My Kaspersky portal in order to start using the portal.

- From the distribution kit downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website. If you install the application from the distribution kit, the installer checks the Kaspersky Lab servers for a newer version of Kaspersky Internet Security. If a newer version is available, the installer can download and install it on your computer.
Install Kaspersky Internet Security
- Open the .dmg file that you have downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website or My Kaspersky.
- In the window that opens, double-click Install Kaspersky Internet Security.
The Kaspersky Internet Security Installation Assistant opens.
- Follow the steps of the Installation Assistant to complete the installation.
When the installation is finished, Kaspersky Internet Security starts automatically. You don't have to restart your computer.
