You can enable or disable logging of application events to create trace files and send them at the request of Technical Support. By default, logging of application events is disabled.

You can also enable or disable logging and automatic transmission of operating system information (dump files) to help Kaspersky Lab collect information about application bugs and fix them in subsequent updates. You can find more information about the purpose and structure of trace files and files with operating system information in the Using trace files section.

By default, logging and automatic transmission of operating system information are enabled.

To collect information about Kaspersky Safe Kids performance for Technical Support:

1. In the context menu of the icon, select Settings.
2. Enter the password for your My Kaspersky account.

   The Settings window opens.

3. In the Track issues section, select the Log application events and Log and automatically send information about the operating system check boxes.

Information about operation of the application is saved in the C:\%Programdata%\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Safe Kids <application version>\Logs folder.

You can manage Kaspersky Safe Kids from the command prompt.

Command prompt syntax:

safekids.com <command> [parameters]

Use the following command to view help information about the command prompt syntax:

safekids.com [ /? | HELP ]

This command allows you to obtain a full list of commands that are available for managing Kaspersky Safe Kids through the command prompt.

To obtain help on the syntax of a specific command, you can enter one of the following commands:

safekids.com <command> /?

safekids.com HELP <command>

At the command prompt, you can refer to the application either from the application installation folder or by specifying the full path to safekids.com.

Using the command prompt to manage the Kaspersky Safe Kids installation parameters is intended for service purposes. You are not advised to use these parameters without being instructed to do so by Technical Support representatives or without consulting them.
