My Kaspersky portal

Proxy server

A computer network service that allows clients to make indirect queries to other network services. The client first connects to the proxy server and queries a particular resource (for example, a file) located on a different server. After that, the proxy server either connects to the specified server and gets the resource from it, or returns the resource from its own cache (if the proxy has its own cache). If some cases the client's query or server's response can be modified by the proxy server for certain purposes.

Request to parent

This is a Kaspersky Safe Kids feature intended for children. If children want to visit a forbidden website or to use a blocked application, they can send their parents a request to allow such an action.

If a parent allows a child to visit a website or to use an application, Kaspersky Safe Kids makes the appropriate changes to the protection settings on the My Kaspersky portal. The allowed website or application is automatically added to the exclusions and becomes continually available to the child.

You can respond to child requests via the My Kaspersky portal or via your smartphone or tablet if Kaspersky Safe Kids is installed on them.
