Preparing to remove the application

Prior to removing the application from a physical server or virtual machine, you must do the following:

1. Disable load balancing for the cluster node being removed.
2. Stop the flow of traffic processing requests.

   To do so, make sure that users' browsers are configured to relay traffic to the load balancer or to another cluster node.

3. Remove the node from the cluster.
