Enabling and disabling Device Control

By default, Device Control is enabled.

To enable or disable Device Control:

  1. In the main application window, click the button icon_settings.
  2. In the application settings window, select Security Controls → Device Control.
  3. Use the Device Control toggle to enable or disable the component.
  4. Save your changes.

As a result, if Device Control is enabled, the application relays information about connected devices to Kaspersky Security Center. You can view the list of connected devices in Kaspersky Security Center in the Hardware folder.
