Hardware and software requirements

General requirements:

  • 480 MB free disk space on the hard drive
  • Internet access (for the application activation and for updating databases and software modules)
  • Internet Explorer 8.0 or later

Requirements for Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 3 or later), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3 or later), and Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (Service Pack 2 or later):

  • Intel Pentium 800 MHz 32-bit (x86) / 64-bit (x64) processor or faster (or a compatible equivalent).
  • 512 MB free RAM

Protection against screenshots is limited in Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit) and Microsoft 8.1 (64-bit) and in Microsoft Windows 10.

Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints does not provide protection if the operating system is running safe mode.

Supported browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or later

    Internet Explorer 10 Modern UI style and Internet Explorer 11 with the new Windows user interface are not supported.

  • Mozilla Firefox versions 43.x – 47.x
  • Mozilla Firefox ESR versions 38.5 – 45.2
  • Google Chrome versions 45.x – 51.x
  • Microsoft Edge versions 20.x – 25.x

These browsers, except Microsoft Edge, support Protected Browser mode and the Kaspersky Protection extension. Connection security verification is performed in all supported browsers.
