Checking the system date set on the computer

The Digital signature of installation files is missing application installation error may occur if an invalid system date is set on the computer. If this error occurs, check the system date on your computer and, if necessary, change it.

To check the system date set on the computer and, if necessary, change it:

  1. In the taskbar notification area of Microsoft Windows, double-click the clock icon. The Date and Time window opens.
  2. Verify the date set in the Date and Time window.

    If an incorrect date is displayed, set the actual date:

    • In Microsoft Windows XP, specify the date in the Date and Time window.
    • In Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsoft Windows 7, in the Date and Time window, click the Change date and time button and, in the window that opens, set the actual date.
  3. To save changes and close the Date and Time window, click OK.
  4. Run the Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints Setup Wizard again.
