Install the URL Advisor extension
Using data from Kaspersky Security Network, URL Advisor checks all links on open webpages to determine whether they are listed as malicious web addresses, checks the links for phishing, and color-marks them to indicate the degree of danger. URL Advisor works with Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox browsers.
To install URL Advisor extension for a selected browser:
- In the menu bar, click the application icon.
- In the menu that appears, choose Preferences.
The application preferences window opens.
- On the Browsers tab, select a browser for which you want to install URL Advisor.
- In the URL Advisor section (
), click the Get Extension button.
An extensions gallery or a web store opens for the browser that you have selected.
- Follow the instructions in the extensions gallery or web store to install the extension.
