Compatibility
Kaspersky Security Scan cannot be installed on a computer with other Kaspersky Lab applications already installed, except for:
- Kaspersky Password Manager.
- Kaspersky Software Updater.
- Kaspersky Safe Kids.
However, you can install other Kaspersky Lab applications on a computer with Kaspersky Security Scan installed. In this case, Kaspersky Security Scan switches to a limited functionality mode: scanning for threats and vulnerabilities, database updates, and scan reports are disabled. If you want Kaspersky Security Scan to have full functionality, remove other Kaspersky Lab applications.
The following third-party anti-virus software is compatible with Kaspersky Security Scan:
- Avira Free Antivirus.
- AVG Internet Security.
- Avast! Internet Security.
