By default, protected servers use the settings in the profile which they belong to. You can reconfigure some of the settings in the profile by specifying individual server settings.

You can reconfigure the following settings:

  • Update settings:
    • Anti-virus database update source;
    • The settings for connection to the update source;
    • Update schedule.
  • Event log and statistics settings:
    • Level of detail of information saved in the Event log;
    • Place for storing information about registered events;
    • Storage period of Event log records;
    • Storage period of statistical information.

To configure individual update settings for a server:

  1. Select the server for which you want to configure individual update settings.
  2. In the action panel click the Modify button and in the control panel select the Anti-virus databases update tab.
  3. Under Update settings clear the Use profile settings check box.

    If the check box is selected, the update settings cannot be changed.

  4. Configure the anti-virus database update settings or the update schedule for the server.
  5. In the action panel, click the Apply button to save the changes.

To configure individual Event log and statistics settings for the server:

  1. Select the server for which you want to configure individual Event log and statistics settings.
  2. In the action panel click the Modify button and in the control panel select the General settings tab.
