Disabling resource protection

To disable resource protection:

  1. In the lower part of the main application window, click the icon_settings button.
  2. In the application settings window, select ProtectionAdvanced Threat ProtectionHost Intrusion Prevention.
  3. Click the Manage resources button.

    The list of protected resources opens.

  4. In the Status column, open the context menu and select Disable control.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • In the Status column, open the context menu and select Disable control.
    • Go to the Exclusions tab and do the following:
      1. Click the Add button. In the drop-down list, select the type of resource that you want to add to the list of exclusions from protection by the Host Intrusion Prevention component: File or folder or Registry key.
      2. In the opened window, select a file, folder, or registry key.

        A new item appears in the list of resources that are excluded from protection by the Host Intrusion Prevention component.

  6. Save your changes.
