Licensing

Balancer uses the same license key file as Kaspersky CyberTrace and falls under the limit on events per second. For more information about licensing, see section "About the licensing".

When deploying Balancer to a computer without Kaspersky CyberTrace, copy the license key file, if it is available, from the httpsrv\lic\ (on Windows) or httpsrv/lic/ (on Linux) directory, and then specify the relevant local path in the kl_balancer.conf configuration file.

Balancer and all instances of Kaspersky CyberTrace must use the same license key file. If no license key is provided, Balancer will run on the Community Edition licensing level and process no more than 250 events per second.
