To view information about a message in Backup:
This opens the View message information window.
The window displays the following information about the message:
Name of the application module which performed the scan that placed the message in Backup.
Unique ID that the application assigns to messages during processing.
Message subject.
Email address of the message sender. The address is taken from the SMTP session (value of the MAIL FROM
command).
IP address of the server from which the message was sent.
Date and time when the application received the message to begin processing.
Node that processed the message.
The field is not available in personal Backup.
ID assigned to the message by the mail server.
Attachment names and sizes (in bytes).
Recipient email addresses from the To
field. Contains addresses from the SMTP session (values of the RCPT TO
command) that occur in the To
MIME header.
Recipient email addresses from the CC
field. Contains addresses from the SMTP session (values of the RCPT TO
command) that occur in the Cc
MIME header, but not in the To
MIME header.
Recipient email addresses from the BCC
field. Contains addresses from the SMTP session (values of the RCPT TO
command) that do not occur in either the To
MIME header or the Cc
MIME header.
The field is not available in personal Backup.
Action that was performed on the message based on the results of scanning with all application modules.
You can expand this group to view scan result details for each application module.
You can expand this group and view authentication result details for each of the technologies: SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
This is displayed only when KATA integration is configured.
Name of the application module which performed the scan that placed the message in Backup.
The group of settings is not available in personal Backup. In administrator mode, this group is displayed only if the permissions to forward messages from Backup are available.
Click the link in the upper part of the message information window to go to the Events section and view information about events related to the processing of this message.
